The White Coat Campaign was an effort to connect alumni directly with incoming students. Funds raised from alumni went to providing new nursing students with their white coats, which they receive at their first official day of nursing school.
White Coat Campaign donors had an option to leave an inspirational message in the pocket of a white coat, welcoming the students into the Nursing School.
There was a cross-channel effort to engage older and recent alumni, and drive traffic to an Amplo fundraising page.
Social media, in particular Facebook and Instagram, are a great way to communicate with our alumni, in particular young alumni whom are often harder to connect with. We periodically updated our feeds with WCC content to keep it visible throughout the campaign, culminating with photos from the white coat ceremony.
